Breaking news: Fire in Lancaster city centre
Three fire engines are at the scene of a fire on Market Street in Lancaster.
Staff at 1725 say there is a small fire on the roof of their building but they don’t know what caused it.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews were called out to a fire on a roof at an address on Market Street at 2.25pm today, Thursday.
“The crews have pitched a ladder outside the three storey building and are tackling a fire on the roof.
“There are no casualties and the fire is still ongoing.”
