Lancaster man accused of murdering brother appears at the Crown Court

Kieran Cuffe, 48, of Dunkeld Street, Lancaster appeared before Preston Crown Court accused of killing Seamus Cuffe, 46.
Police were called at 6.40pm last Saturday to reports Seamus had been assaulted near Barclays Bank, Lancaster, and at 10.15am on Monday following his death.

Hide AdA post-mortem examination was carried out but the cause of death was unascertained.
Cuffe, who is remanded in custody, appeared before the Honorary Recorder of Preston, Judge Robert Altham.
A plea hearing will take place on December 18, and a potential trial date has been fixed for February 15, 2021.
