Morecambe Carnival: all you need to know
SATURDAY (APRIL 30)
12noon: On the EDF Family Fun Zone Stage, which will be located at The Midland Promenade Gardens, will be the Morecambe Carnival royal coronation, the crowning of the carnival’s King and Queen.
12noon and onwards: join in to see who can build the biggest sandcastle at the competition on the beach.

Hide Ad12noon-5pm: Black Knights Parachute Display, head to Morecambe Central Promenade to watch the parachutists dive over Morecambe and land on central beach, exact show times are dependent on the weather.
12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm: Trials Display Bike Show, see some amazing bike stunts at The Bay Arena.
1pm, the traditional circus show at The Bay Arena.
1.15pm and 3.30pm, Regent Park Studios Stunt Show, Martin Shenton’s team will be showcasing some unique and surprising stunts at the new EDF stage.
3pm, the clown show at The Bay Arena.
5pm, the Punch and Judy show at The Bay Arena.
SUNDAY (MAY 1)
1.30pm onwards, music and live parade coverage, at The Bay Stage.
