Naked horse riders to parade through Morecambe
Sharon Monks has organised the protest as part of the Slow Down for my Horse campaign, to highlight the dangers some riders are facing.
More than 30 people will ride naked on horseback from York Bridge through the town centre on Saturday September 12 at noon.

Sharon said: “We have got nowhere and often vehicles can bump into our horses.
“We ended up down by Salt Ayre the other day and there was a man on his bike swearing at us to move, saying we shouldn’t be here and I had children with us.
“The children were training for a little competition, cyclists are training for their sport but there are no facilities in Morecambe for horse riders.

“We are going to be a bit of a nuisance during the protest and that is why I want to apologise to good road users.”
