Staff at Brew Me Sunshine, in Morecambe, delivered baked treats to staff at Royal Lancaster Infirmary’s eye clinic, as well as the food bank collection at Sainsbury’s.
Joseph Gardiner, cafe manager, said: “As our cafe is temporarily closed due to the government’s lockdown measures, we wanted to ensure our cakes had a good home.

"We also understand that during this time, even more people may need the help of food banks, so we were more than happy to donate some cakes.”
Brew Me Sunshine, is run by sight loss charity Galloway’s, which also has sites in Penwortham, Chorley and Southport.
