Lancaster and Morecambe schoolchildren asked to take part in Covid-19 art competition
The competition is open to children between the ages of four and 11 and asks them to design a poster featuring the main preventative measures for reducing the spread of the virus.
Designs should be on a piece of A4 paper and use strong colours which show up well.

Hide AdThey can include single or multiple messages and examples include:
• Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds
• Make space for others
• Wear a face covering in indoor public places
The winner’s school will also receive £100 in book vouchers and two runners-up will receive £50 each.
The winning design will be displayed on Lancaster City Council’s website and social media channels, along with being made available for printing and display.
To enter, send in a digital picture of the artwork by email, along with the child’s name, age and address details, to [email protected].
The deadline for entries is Saturday November 28.
Please make sure you retain the original artwork as it will be needed to turn into posters in the event that it wins.
