Sainsbury’s worker to do Great North Run
Angela Prince, 34, decided to take part in the half marathon on September 7 to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
The motivation to take part came about when Angela, also a marital arts instructor at John Ward School Of Korean Martial Arts, Morecambe, failed one of her tests at the class in 2011.

Angela said: “I signed up for breast cancer care, my mother and grandmother overcame breast cancer so it means a lot to the family.
“I feel confident I have been training a lot, everyone has probably seen me running all over the promenade and Heysham Road!”
Angela is a well known face in the Morecambe store as she has worked there since it opened four years ago.

She said: “Quite a lot of customers have supported and raised money for me which is nice of them. I am scared of it in a way but I am trying to raise £500 in total.”
