Easter egg delivery trolley goes down a treat at Lancaster care home
An Easter Fayre had been scheduled for Good Friday, with afternoon tea, live music, game and a raffle all planned for residents.
However, due to the coronavirus outbreak this was all cancelled and instead staff took the time to take everybody into the garden to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

Hide AdEvery member of staff and every resident at the Westbourne Road care home was treated to a chocolate egg, which activity coordinator Jamie Hodgson said put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces.
Residents also enjoyed virtual church services, either on one of the tablets in the home or through the BBC's ‘Songs of Praise’.
Many residents at the home survived World War 2, and say they are used to coming together through tough times.
One resident said: “It is what it is.
"We’ve got to stick together and get through this challenge as a United Kingdom.

Hide Ad"We all have to do our bit, just as we did in the war, and if that means life slows down for a couple of months then so be it.
"I’d like to ask people to stay at home for the NHS- it’s crucial at the moment.”
Laurel Bank care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
Laurel Bank provides residential care and nursing care for 65 residents, from respite care to long term stays.
